RECENT PROJECTS

Below are some projects which are currently in formation. For each project, the design is a dynamic and intuitive process - often cyclical rather than a linear process. Projects are therefore consistently reviewed and undergoes a constant evolution. The featured projects represent a snapshot of where we stand in the design process.

1H - CAPE TOWN CBD

This project has been on the drawing board for the last two years. Given the impact of COVID19, we had to rethink our approach and managed to adapt our scheme for a changing world.  1H is set to become a new mixed-use precinct in the heart of Cape Town's CBD - with a mix of retail, shared offices and residential.  Various portions of the historic fabric gets preserved - and an interesting dialogue is set up between the old and new.

ILLOVO - JOHANNESBURG

Tucked between ancient Oak trees in one one of Sandton's most beautiful and leafy suburbs is this contemporary interpretation of a luxurious treehouse.  
The design has been a great collaboration with the owner - a hotelier and property developer whom wanted create a new city home for his family, with an adjoining villa and staff quarters.
